24 years ago I joined a kids running group, and ever since I laced up my shoes that first day of practice, running has stayed with me as my most passionate and fulfilling lifelong pursuit. While at college at Harvard, the legendary spirit of running in Boston enticed me to train for my first marathon. I have run 11 marathons since, and I’m a 5-time Boston Marathon finisher.
Inspired by the great coaches and role models I have had throughout the years, I became a running coach in 2006. I brought hundreds of runners from 3 miles to 26.2 miles in 6 months through the AIDS Marathon Training Program, and I trained hundreds of runners for eleven half marathons for Fleet Feet Sports San Francisco.
In 2011, I founded my personal coaching business, and I now train beginner, intermediate and advanced clients for races ranging from 5K to marathon distance. I am very successful in helping my clients stay injury free and attain their performance goals. And most of all, I help my clients maximize their joy and fulfillment in this awesome sport.
