I’ve been running for the love of running for over 45 years. Running is not only a passion of mine, it’s a life style. I’m a running coach as well as a competitive runner. I race on the track, roads and trails. I am fortunate to have achieved 1 world record and 8 American records. Trails are my favorite type of running and Marin County, California has some of the best trail running in the country.
Having lived in Marin for more than 38 years I have explored the Marin Headlands, Mount Tamalpais as well as Point Reyes National Sea Shore and the endless trail systems that traverse the majestic coastal redwoods that line mountain lakes and extend to the cold blue waters of the pacific. With yet the presents of always engaging first class city, San Francisco just a short drive away. I believe it to be one of the most desirable places in the world to be a runner year round. I’m fortunate to be able to share our great trails around Marin with runners that love the great outdoors.
The following are the details of my service:
Marin County has a series of breathtaking lakes with an abundance of fire roads and single tracks connecting them for us to enjoy. Point Reyes National Sea Shore has diverse terrain with ocean views, majestic redwood forests and wildlife grasslands with pleasant running conditions year round. With a little luck you may see eagles, bobcats, fox, coyotes, elk, deer, as well as many others. My coaching services focus on helping all levels of competitive runners learn how to apply basic and high level training over a variety of terrains to keep your running skills progressing, while staying healthy and having fun. Noncompetitive runners are sure to enjoy our diverse wild life and breathetaking views, including the Golden Gate bridge, Mount Tamalpias and Point Reyes National Sea Shore. My goal is to provide you with an opportunity to fall in love with our beautiful outdoors.
I’ve been running on the trails of Marin for fun and for competitive training for over 38 years. I’ve been coaching beginner runners as well as competitive runners for years. My love of running has taken me to a very high level of competition. I want to share with you what I have learned from my experience over the years. If you are noncompetitive, I would like to share my vast knowledge of our trails.
