About me:
I have been dedicated to being a woodsman and outdoorsman for nearly 20 years. I have been avidly mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, hunting, sailing and surfing. Many adventures in the last decades have honed my skills as an outdoor expert by continuously challenging myself with the need for improvisation and problem solving. In the past 10 years I have dedicated more time to master the more complicated skills it takes to be an expert in wilderness survival. I have been a full time guide and instructor since 2010. My master’s degree in environmental science has furthered my knowledge in this field.
The following are the details of my service:
I along with Treks and Tracks offer many outdoor adventures. There are many options, but here are some of my favorite ones: Three day wilderness survival course in Yosemite, 3 day Summit Half Dome trip in Yosemite, overnight beginning backpacking trip in Pt. Reyes, Castle Rock or Ojai and all of our rock climbing classes ranging from first timer to multi pitch traditional.
Qualifications:
AMGA SPI, WFA, 6 years of active guiding and instruction, 20 years of backcountry adventures, master in environmental science, 6 month sailing expedition from Santa Cruz to Costa Rica (2011), sponsored horseback expedition to Patagonia to find first ascent rock climbs (2012), 5 multi-week horse packing trips in the San Juan Mountains of CO (2005 - 2010)
