About me:
While living in New York in 2004, I took a vacation to San Francisco and realized I didn't want to go home. When I bought my one-way ticket out west in 2007, my father bought me a copy of Adah Bakalinsky's Stairway Walks in San Francisco. Since then, I've explored the city left and right, up and down. I've gone on every single hiking trail San Francisco has to offer (and many of the stairways)—and I just wrote a book on our beautiful city's urban hiking opportunities.
The following are the details of my service:
I offer tours of the stairways, hills, and hiking trails of San Francisco. I normally run 4-5 mile/2.5-3 hour city tours, and I am happy to cook up something very special for you based on what you’d like to see.
Qualifications:
I have been running my company, Urban Hiker SF, for 3+ years and I show around over 1,000 hikers every year from some 20 countries. I also just wrote a book about San Francisco’s urban trails, which is due out in fall 2016.
