This is a private lesson which includes a brief safety, surf etiquette, and pop up drill prior to surfing. We provide the soft top surfboard! If you require a wetsuit, they are available for $20 on the day of your experience.
My name is Matt Wilkinson. I'm the proud owner and main instructor for Pillar Point Surf School. I'm a dedicated surfer who has traveled the world in search of the perfect wave. I'm an extremely patient and passionate person who will provide you with the best experience possible. Now older and a bit more responsible with a family of my own, I dedicate my time to sharing the love of the coast and ocean with my clients. Now in my third year of business, I enjoy specializing in private lessons and small group lessons. This allows my clients to really learn the basics and progress quickly through the many rewarding challenges that surfing presents.
