Stand Up Paddling is a multi-dimensional sport that promotes balance, strength and endurance and is one of the best workouts for developing core strength and overall fitness. Stand Up Paddle Fitness is designed for those beginner and intermediate paddlers who wish to learn how to incorporate a fitness routine into their training regime.
This course weaves SUP with a mix of strength and balance exercises performed on paddle boards. Bailie will lead you through a dynamic warm-up on land and then take you to the water for a strength and cardio workout. By incorporating technique intervals and low-impact core strengthening exercise, participants can expect to improve paddling skills, efficiency and speed, as well as turning skills, agility and balance. A must for anyone interested in taking their paddling and strength training to the next level.
This class is designed to be motivational, not intimidating and can accommodate all levels of paddlers and fitness levels. Beginners welcome, but some paddling experience is required!
